When you are there, you will be surrounded by the most beautiful chains of the central Apennines and you will wonder what you are looking at.
From the various positions on Lake Campotosto you can in fact see in a south/easterly direction the two horns of the Gran Sasso, Pizzo Intermesoli, the beautiful Val Chiarino, Monte San Franco and above all the imposing Monte Corvo. In a north/easterly direction you can appreciate the beauty of the Laga peaks. As soon as you rise in altitude, you can also appreciate the view of the Sibillini Mountains, Mount Terminillo and Mount Velino.

A few hundred metres from the house you can access the Sentiero Natura (Nature Trail) that will take you to the Lake Nature Reserve, where there are breeding sites for aquatic and migratory birds and a birdwatching station.

But that’s not all. In fact, just a few hundred metres away, you can also take advantage of the access to the Sentiero Italia trail in all its variations in the area and the direct route up to Monte di Mezzo.
